Investments
Another core element of our activities includes a direct investment into projects we find promising. However as we are a non-profit project, we do not invest our own money but instead work with a network of institutional and private investors who provide us with a mandate for specific investments. These investors would typically represent the international mentor for the project they‘re invested in. In addition, we provide a local coach and work with the startups to make sure they reach their goals. The Entrepreneurs’ Ship, in return, receives a small percentage of the investment made (partly in equity, partly in cash).
Looking for Funding?
Do you have a business idea and are looking for funding? Then you should consider our microcredit and seedfund program which, depending on your projects' developmental stage, would apply. We do investments in the range from 10'000 USD - 100'000 USD. However, larger investments are also possible in exceptional cases. In addition, we can attract additional external investment from our network of investors to help you close the round. We do not only invest, but we will provide you with a lot more than just money. We will become operational partners in your enterprise and help you accelerate growth. In addition, we will make available to you the unique network of partners, mentors, customers and investors to make sure your business follows the right trajectory. Founder Fund
You hold shares in an investor-backed company and would like to diversify your portfolio? Then you should consider our founder fund. By putting a portion of your equity into this fund, you will become partner of the fund. Everytime that there is an opportunity for liquidity from any of the portfolio companies, you will immediately receive a cash share of the generated liquidity.
